Pokémon is eternal, unending. Simultaneously a relic of the ’90s and the torch carried by kids today, there’s clearly something special in the stories of Pokémon trainers and all these wonderful little pocket monsters generation after generation has come to love.
At The Gathering Place, we’ve got time set aside on Thursdays and Sundays for folks to come play Pokémon. We’ve had regular meetups for folks playing Base Fossil, jams with precons, Constructed tournaments, these sessions are called “free play” for a reason. It’s also not neccesarily about playing the game — this weekly meetup is a great place to talk Pokémon, trade, and see what’s on the shelves at TGP.
