TGP Dispatch 1/3/25
Hello and good afternoon! Friends, welcome to 2025. We, The Gathering Place, are so literally officially back.
We’re celebrating the new year by being open – so come on down for a drink, a slice, a game or two. Not a lot has changed around here since the last time you saw us, and honestly I think we can all agree that a little consistency isn’t the worst thing in the world.
Other things we can agree on? 2025 is off to a STRONG start in terms of upcoming events. The TGP monthly calendar has been updated with all the big events we’ve already got scheduled and locked in, and we’re going to keep planning things as we settle back in to our respective grooves at the shop. So keep an eye out for more announcements!
This weekend, this Saturday, tomorrow, we’re hosting a big style cEDH tournament! No proxy limit, $30 entry, and a dual land to the winner. Get those decks ready, come ready to play at 11:30 a.m. – we’re getting started early so hopefully our competitors can still see a little daylight when the dust settles and the spoils have been allocated to the appropriate victors.
